Penelope Handmade has a free tutorial for making the Bear Track quilt- and I decided to make it completely scrappy using fat quarters and actually wrote a tutorial for how I made it which you can also find here.

I loved making this quilt, especially using the low volume scrappy background. I backed it with a brown gingham fabric which I know was a controversial choice at the time but I loved it! I quilted it with my favourite big wavy stitch (yet again). This is another quilt I ended up selling but still think about it very fondly :-)
